About this role

Department Entrance Advice and Support is now strengthening the rehabilitation area and is therefore seeking an additional committed unit manager for the rehabilitation unit, which includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the dog team. With the citizen's best interests in focus, the Department Entrance Advice and Support works to offer legally secure, accessible, and flexible high-quality care and support. Through preventive measures, health-promoting approaches, and coordination of services and interventions, we create a team-based care and support model that best meets individual needs. As unit manager, you will be part of the management team for Entrance Advice and Support, alongside the rehabilitation unit manager and colleagues from nursing, authority administration (LSS and SoL), and the promotion/prevention unit. You are directly subordinate to the department manager, who is also the healthcare manager for the municipality. You will be responsible for approximately 20 employees. We have the significant and exciting task of developing municipal healthcare and authority administration with the citizen in focus. We are aiming towards good and close care and a sustainable social services with the individual at the center. We are an engaged management team that wants to think together, learn from the old, and shape the new. Work Tasks The unit manager's assignment is a close-to-operations management with the patient's perspective at the center. The task involves leading daily work and developing it together with employees. As unit manager, you have operational responsibility for staff, finances, operations, results, and work environment. You will contribute to using resources flexibly and efficiently and be involved in and take responsibility for the whole. You will be an active and driving part of the municipality's transition to Good and Close Care. Qualifications We are seeking someone with a higher education that the employer considers relevant for the position. Previous management experience is preferred, and experience as a manager in rehabilitation is particularly meritorious. Experience as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist is also beneficial. Experience working in a politically governed organization is an advantage. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing and have good Swedish language skills. You are also computer-savvy and comfortable using digital tools in daily work. As a person, you are a responsible team player with the courage to explore new paths. You lead with trust, promote participation, and develop employees' competence and engagement. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. A valid driver's license, category B, is required. What can we offer you?
