About this role

**Job Description** **Responsibilities** The Personal Support area is responsible for providing personal assistance, escort services, contact persons for adults, emergency leadership throughout Gothenburg, as well as night interventions carried out by the Night Unit. Together with your unit manager colleagues, you will drive the development of the operational area. You will be part of the management team for the operational area, which consists of thirteen unit managers, one business developer, one method developer, one staffing controller, and one operational controller. The role of unit manager includes the following responsibilities: - Responsibility for personnel, budget, and work environment - Responsibility for the unit's operational area - Formulating and establishing operational goals and strategies for the unit, as well as following up and evaluating results As a manager in our area, you will have access to close leadership, and in our management team, we continuously work to ensure the quality of operations and support for individuals. We also invest significantly in developing our management team and the role of the manager. As part of the management, you will help drive our collective efforts to ensure that our services maintain high quality. In support of your work, you will have access to a well-functioning support organization for method and operational development, short-term recruitment, schedule planning, and administration. Would you like to be part of us? **Qualifications** The position requires a relevant higher education of at least three years, such as a social worker, in social care, health care, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You need to have good computer skills and experience working with digital technology. Previous experience in management or leadership is a requirement. It is also advantageous if you have worked as a unit manager within LSS or SoL, as well as if you have experience in personal assistance. We consider it beneficial if you have experience working in the City of Gothenburg's operational systems, such as Personec, Adato, Proceedo, Stratsys, or other equivalent system supports. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have good knowledge of systematic work environment management and its application within the organization. We are looking for someone who can flexibly change how they work when circumstances change. You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes.
