JOB RESPONSIBILITIES About the Role As unit manager, you will lead and develop the quality of the operation in a pedagogical and attentive manner. It is important to us that you want to be active and present in the operation. This is to ensure that you can follow up on our values, economics, and compliance with applicable legislation. It is also in the operation where you nurture and develop relationships with employees, residents, and relatives. You will also maintain good relationships with our cross-professional colleagues. You will report to the department head and be part of their management team, with budget and result responsibility for the operation. QUALIFICATIONS You have relevant higher education in care and social services (e.g., social worker or behavioral scientist, or equivalent 180 credits) and experience in elderly care. You also have several years of documented management experience with good references regarding leadership. We desire that you: - are coaching and want your employees to grow, develop, and take responsibility. - enjoy giving and receiving feedback and breaking down and working towards set goals. - are solution-oriented and see opportunities rather than obstacles. - are unpretentious, independent, and cooperative. - want and have the ability to manage and follow up the operation based on quality goals and financial frameworks. All unit managers undergo UL leadership program, where you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills. You will have supportive and coaching colleagues nearby, and we have clear working methods to provide the best care for our users. Good computer skills and documentation experience are important. Since meetings, training, etc. often take place in other parts of the municipality, we require a B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
