We are seeking an engaged and present leader for Norrtälje North Home Care and Home Healthcare – a developing organization focused on quality, staffing, and customer satisfaction.
As Unit Manager, you will play a central role in daily operations, working closely with both employees and customers. You will lead, plan, and follow up on activities with an operational focus, while driving improvement work and digital development. We are looking for someone who is confident in their leadership, makes quick decisions, and inspires change.
About the Position
As Unit Manager, you will have comprehensive responsibility for operations, staff, work environment, and finances. You will lead a team of approximately 50 employees, including care personnel and nurses, working both strategically and operatively to achieve set goals. The role requires flexibility and presence.
You will be responsible for recruitment, staffing, introduction, and mentoring of new employees. Together with coordinators and support functions like HR and payroll, you will create good conditions for collaboration and quality. You will report to authorities and collaborate internally with contract managers and commissioners at KSON.
Digitalization and improvement work are natural parts of your assignment, and you have good system skills and experience in driving change.
Your tasks will include:
- Strategically and operatively leading and developing home care services
- Responsibility for budget, goal follow-up, and resource planning
- Staff and work environment responsibility
- Recruitment, staffing, and introduction of new employees
- Present leadership with physical participation in operations
- Close collaboration with colleagues and departments for a unified approach and good team spirit
- Reporting to authorities and internal functions
- Communication and cooperation with contract managers and commissioners
- Driving digitalization and change work

About You:
For this position, you need:
- Experience in coordinator roles, deputy, or similar leadership assignments
- Good knowledge of legislation within SOL and HSL areas
- Strong Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
- Good computer and system proficiency
It is meritorious if you also have:
- Led operations in change and/or have experience from home care
