The unit manager plays an important role with responsibility for operations, finance, personnel, and working environment.
As support in your work, you have budget frameworks and delegation as well as applicable directives and guidelines. You also have access to an administrator to assist with tasks such as scheduling and payroll administration.

Björksäter/Kaptensgården/resource
This position will have a special arrangement as you will divide your time primarily between two special accommodations, Björksäter and Kaptensgården. You will have unit manager colleagues at both locations. You need to be flexible as other assignments as resource manager may also be included.
Björksäter is a newly built and modern accommodation in central Hässleholm. The facilities are bright and fresh with a pleasant outdoor environment. Björksäter consists of four floors and 72 apartments. The placements focus on cognitive impairment. Björksäter is centrally located in Hässleholm, about a 10-minute walk from the central station.
Kaptensgården is an accommodation centrally located next to the central station. It has 50 places divided between somatic and cognitive impairment.
As a resource manager, you may temporarily support other special accommodations at the request of the operations manager.
We are now looking for a manager who wants to help create high-quality accommodations.
You have the ability to support and motivate your staff. You are structured, driven, and action-oriented, and can see solutions and opportunities even when there is a lot going on.
As a unit manager, you will be part of the management team of the operational area, which gives you the opportunity to participate in development and improvement work. Within special accommodations, there are 21 unit managers. You will greatly benefit from each other as sounding boards and support. In addition, you have the opportunity to be part of working groups and interdisciplinary teams, where you unit managers from different operational areas contribute to the overall development of the administration.
The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting on April 13, 2026.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work or another higher education qualification at least at the bachelor's level (180 credits) or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- A good understanding of applicable legislation, SoL, HSL.
- Experience with the target group.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
- Good computer skills.
- A Class B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Knowledge of our operational systems, such as Visma/Medvind and Procapita/Lifecare.
- Experience as a manager within the operational area.
You have the ability to show trust and see employees as the most important resource; you create results through others and foster engagement and participation. Furthermore, you have the desire to motivate employees towards continuous development and innovative thinking. Your communication skills enable you to explain clearly and create conditions for good dialogue within the organization. The ability to analyze information and alternatives when making proposals and decisions is also important.
You see the value in a politically governed organization and are interested in development issues within public administration. As a leader, you serve as a role model and have both the ability and interest to identify your own strengths and weaknesses. Being quality-conscious is important to us; care and support for our municipal residents must comply with current legislation and applicable routines.

Additional Information
We will have an initial interview via Teams on December 3 and/or 4 in the morning.
The second interview is planned to be held on-site at Löjtnant Granlunds väg 14 in Hässleholm on December 12.
