Your new job As a unit manager within HVB, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that the operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, quality requirements, and political goals and decisions. The role involves both strategic and operational work – from leading and developing the staff group and operations to ensuring that the young people receive the right support, care, and treatment. You will be responsible for the documentation of the operations, collaboration with other stakeholders, as well as the personnel, finances, and working environment of the operations. In your work, you will have a coordinator and the municipality's support functions in finance, scheduling, and personnel matters to assist you. You will be part of the management structure for children and youth and the resource management group together with unit managers from, among others, open care, supported housing, preventive measures, and HVB Prinseryd's sister operation HVB Kärrarp. The role also includes being responsible for management readiness for individual and family care's 24-hour operations every 6 weeks, for which compensation will be provided according to agreement. Your qualifications You have a completed and approved higher education degree of at least 180 credits, such as a degree in social work, behavioral science, community-oriented education, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience from the core profession is a requirement. Furthermore, you have leadership experience, preferably within HVB or similar operations, where you have had responsibility for personnel, budget, and working environment. You possess good knowledge of the Social Services Act and regulations for HVB. Experience working in a politically governed organization is an advantage. You have the ability to work systematically with quality assurance, documentation, and follow-up. You have expertise in areas such as trauma, mental health issues, and behavioral problems relevant to the target group. Naturally, you are confident in conflict management and skilled in building relationships with young people. As a person, you are communicative, solution-oriented, and genuinely committed to the development of youth. You have good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You hold a B driver's license and can operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. We place great emphasis on personal suitability! The accommodation has 8 places, and we primarily work with youth from Jönköping Municipality. The operations work systemically based on what works by strengthening protective factors in the youth's home environment. The residence is nicely located on the outskirts of Bankeryd. Good to know The recruitment is for a permanent position, full-time, with a start date according to agreement. You will primarily work during the day, but management readiness is included every 6 weeks. A probationary period may be applied. Testing tools may also be utilized.
