About this role
Samskapa is growing, would you like to join us on this journey?
About the job
Samskapa is a professional alternative with high capacity, but also soul. A company that is growing to give more people the chance to succeed, a company that does not hide behind processes, but meets every child and young person with presence and courage.
Samskapa believes in models, but we believe even more in people; it is not the manual that changes lives, it is the adult who stays when the going gets tough.
We offer support and treatment to vulnerable children, youth, and their families.
At Samskapa, we are convinced that we can achieve more by utilizing everyone's collective experience and knowledge in our development work, which is the reason behind our company name and why we call ourselves co-creators. We operate based on the concept of Professional Integrated Treatment (PIB), which means that Samskapa takes full responsibility for integrating the services that children and young people need to enhance their social skills and improve their quality of life. Mission
Being a unit manager (equivalent to a director) at Samskapa can be described as running a "small business within the company." You are entrusted with shaping the operations according to your leadership style while ensuring that the work with the youth complies with applicable laws and requirements. You will have a unique opportunity to lead closely with heart and direction, while also having Samskapa's established structure, culture, and company-wide development team as your stable foundation.
We offer you a meaningful mission alongside a creative, engaged, and solution-focused treatment team. Here, we believe in people's inherent resources and will both uplift, challenge, and give you the space to use your creativity, courage, and vision in your daily work.
As a director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, following up, and leading with a primary focus on "the four journeys":
• Youth Journey – from the first contact before moving in, to when the youth is ready for the next step. You ensure a safe, understandable, and hopeful journey forward.
• Employee Journey – you build a strong team throughout the chain, from recruitment (with support from HR), introduction, development, and beyond. You create a workplace where people grow and want to stay.
• Customer Journey – you maintain the overall coherence from the placement request until the youth moves on with professionalism, quality, and secure communication.
• Improvement Journey – you lead the operations from the current state to the desired state and are both a strategist, problem solver, and cultural bearer.
An important cultural principle at Samskapa and in the youth journey is that we are persistent and that we stand firm. We are convinced that this is a crucial factor for success, which we consider our professional responsibility.
