Unit Manager for Dermatology Clinic in Lund

Make a Difference. Every Day. The Dermatology Clinic in Lund is part of the Healthcare Unit (VE) Dermatological Care at Skåne University Hospital (Sus). We have operations in Lund and Malmö with approximately 80,000 visits annually. The operation is divided into a specialized and an accredited unit, with the latter operating within the framework of healthcare choice. The specialized unit includes inpatient care, day care, and several specialized clinics in areas such as child eczema, psoriasis, genodermatoses, laser treatment, Mohs surgery, vulvar diseases, hyperhidrosis, and sexually transmitted diseases. Teaching and research are an important and integrated part of the operation. RESPONSIBILITIES As Head of Unit at the Dermatology Clinic in Lund, you will have overall management responsibility for operations, employees, and finances, and will be the direct supervisor for 39 staff members including secretaries, administrators, nurses, nursing assistants, and counselors. You will work closely with the section manager, who is the direct supervisor for the clinic's physicians. The dermatological care area also includes our operations in Malmö, and you will be part of our Sus joint local management group. Based on goals and approved resources, you and your fellow managers will create conditions for your employees to deliver the best possible care to our patients. You will prioritize and make decisions from a holistic perspective to achieve goals and agreements. Leading and creating conditions for business development is a key responsibility. Excellent Swedish language skills are required in both speech and writing. Previous leadership experience is also required. We prefer candidates with experience in the healthcare sector and leadership training. You are a confident leader with a genuine interest in leadership and operational development. We seek someone interested in driving development forward in collaboration with management colleagues and employees.
