Your New Job
As a home care unit manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and driving your operations, and through your employees, contribute to enabling citizens to live a dignified life and experience well-being. You have responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment, with development and improvement work being a natural part of your leadership assignment. As a manager in the Social Services Administration, you work and lead based on our shared core mission: all activities shall be built on a health-promoting approach where individual resources are utilized and strengthened through self-determination, participation, and influence.
Your Competence
You should have a college/university degree that the employer finds relevant for a leadership position. We particularly value experience in a leadership role and work within elderly care. Furthermore, you must be proficient in Swedish in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.
As a person, you are stable and maintain composure in stressful situations, are trustworthy, and possess a high degree of personal maturity. You focus on results with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work. You have excellent collaboration skills as much of the work is performed in groups and with other departments within the Social Services Administration, while also comfortably handling independent work. Additionally, you are clear in your approach and communication, are attentive, and take initiative. You can also quickly adapt your perspective and see opportunities in changes.
You lead, motivate, and provide others with the necessary authority to effectively achieve common goals. Your leadership is characterized by presence, participation, trust, and commitment. Beyond this, you handle both substantive issues and employees in a professional manner.

Welcome to Us
Home care services consist of 23 home care groups spread throughout Jönköping Municipality. As a unit manager, you will be responsible for a home care group and will be part of a management team together with 5-7 other unit managers. Organizationally, you report to the area manager and will have support from HR consultants, recruitment consultants, economists, unit administrators, and other staff and management. On-site in the operation, you will have support from process coordinators who plan daily services provided to customers. You will have a workplace in the home care location. To facilitate collegiate exchange with other unit managers, we have a shared location at Skeppsbron near the southern Munksjön.
Good to Know
The recruitment is for two permanent positions, one of which is an expansion. The positions are full-time with start date by agreement. Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.
We will apply tests during the recruitment process. We use rolling selection, and interviews are planned for 27/11, 28/11, 1/12, and 3/12. Second interviews will be planned for
