Welcome to Us We are growing and are therefore seeking a Unit Manager for our municipal home care services, with locations in Hammarbyhöjden, Bagarmossen, and Skarpnäck. Together with two fellow managers, you will be responsible for Skarpnäck's municipal home care, where our work is characterized by professionalism and participation, with a focus on citizens. As Unit Manager, you will work closely with other managers in the division's management team for service operations and report to the Area Manager and Division Manager. The management team also collaborates closely with the division and administration's quality and support functions such as HR and finance. The division's management team is LGBTQI-certified. The role offers both operational and strategic challenges, always focusing on quality, structure, and user benefits. You will lead one of three geographical areas and have direct personnel responsibility for approximately 30 employees, with support from planners and close collaboration with management colleagues and support functions within the area, division, and administration. Your responsibilities also include leading and developing the operation based on the city's goals, managing staffing, budget, and intervention planning. This may involve analyzing and ensuring scheduling for your employees. You will also drive improvement work and innovation together with your colleagues. The role requires you to be a leader driven by working with good quality, achieving a balanced budget, and leading through change. Your Competence and Experience We are seeking someone who has: • Academic education in a relevant field, for example with a focus on social work. • Good knowledge of elderly care and relevant legislation and guiding documents. • Documented management experience with personnel, economic, and budget responsibilities. • Experience in driving and maintaining collaboration, development, and quality work. • Interest in intervention planning and logistics. • Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. • Digital competence and interest in welfare technology. You are confident in your leadership, have experience leading larger work groups, and a good ability to structure, follow up, lead change, and drive development. It is meritorious if you have: • Experience collaborating with both managers and employees through dialogue and adapting your working method to create contacts, relationships, and engagement. • Familiarity with conveying messages in both individual meetings and larger groups. • Experience with municipal home care.
