Home Care in Hudiksvall Municipality provides support and care to individuals in their own homes, focusing on safety, participation, and high quality of life. The East unit is based in central Hudiksvall and consists of approximately 25 employees, including nursing assistants and care aides, who together provide support and care to around 150 clients. Your workplace will be Tunbacka in central Hudiksvall. You will receive a structured introduction with mentorship and good support resources. As a unit manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing the future of home care and become part of an experienced and supportive management team where collaboration is central. When necessary, you will coordinate with other home care groups to ensure an efficient and coordinated working method. Responsibilities As a unit manager, you will have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances. The role is operational and present, and you will lead a stable and experienced team that meets clients with varying needs every day. Your tasks will include: - Leading and supporting employees in their daily work - Driving the development of operations in line with the municipality's goals - Ensuring good collaboration both internally and externally - Working strategically with competence development and sustainable staffing - Contributing to the management team and its collective efforts Your Profile We are looking for a confident, present, and structured leader who easily builds trusting relationships. You have a strong customer focus, place clients' needs at the center, and foster participation and engagement. You adapt quickly to new circumstances, thrive in everyday operations where collaboration is crucial, and act decisively even in changing situations. Requirements: - Higher education relevant to the role - Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written - Good familiarity with systems - B driver's license Meritorious: - Experience in social work - Leadership experience - Leadership training or training in Future Leaders Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
