The operation is based at Storgatan 46. Here you will work as a unit manager alongside colleagues, area managers, and method advisors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Disability Services is seeking a unit manager. The department consists of special housing, regular housing, daily activities, and personal assistance.
We offer you a versatile, stimulating, and meaningful job with many personal interactions. Your area of responsibility will be to lead, organize, and develop the work within your unit with a focus on the service user. You will have the support of a team of competent colleagues and staff who have extensive experience in implementing services.
You will have financial, personnel, and operational responsibilities within your managerial scope and will lead goal-setting and follow-up work according to applicable guidelines and established decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education, preferably in social work or another equivalent higher education program. To succeed in the role of unit manager, you need to possess leadership abilities, take initiative, and work with a clear structure towards set goals. We expect you to apply trust-based leadership in management and guidance. Other important qualities include clarity, loyalty, accountability, and personal maturity.
We seek someone who is unpretentious, open to change, and believes that collaboration is the best way forward. We expect that you enjoy working in a team and have a desire to develop and improve operations. In this role, you need to be innovative, solution-oriented, patient, and flexible. You should be strategic and have the ability to see connections and the whole picture. You must understand the challenges of change processes.
You should have a good knowledge of current legislation and experience and knowledge related to individuals with disabilities. Experience in a leadership position within health and social care is required.
A driver’s license is required.
Interviews are scheduled for December 3 and 9.
