This role is part of the management group alongside unit managers for nurses, rehabilitation, short-term care, and the support team, as well as a business developer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a unit manager in municipal primary healthcare, you have comprehensive responsibility for leading, planning, developing, and following up activities in your area. You are responsible for personnel, work environment, finances, and quality, working closely with your colleagues in daily operations.
You lead through dialogue and participation, creating an open climate where commitment, accountability, and job satisfaction can thrive. Your assignment includes creating good conditions for safe and patient-centered care, and working long-term on skills development and sustainable staffing.
You will collaborate with management colleagues in healthcare, elderly care, and support services to create comprehensive care focused on individual needs. You are responsible for ensuring operations comply with current legislation, political decisions, municipal goals, and guidelines.
As a unit manager, you will drive development and quality work within your area of responsibility and actively contribute to strengthening municipal primary healthcare's role in the transition to Good and Nearby Care. Your assignment also includes ensuring efficient budget and follow-up work, and maintaining dialogue with users, relatives, and collaboration partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
We seek candidates with leadership experience in personnel, budget, and work environment management. You should have a university degree as a licensed nurse or another education deemed relevant by the employer, with good knowledge of municipal primary healthcare. Experience in change and development work in healthcare is meritorious.
As a leader, you are clear, present, and trust-building. You lead through dialogue and engagement, with the ability to create participation and trust in your team. You are structured, responsible, and adept at switching between strategic and operational work. You see the big picture and actively contribute to developing collaboration between professions and operational areas.
You have good knowledge of laws and regulations governing healthcare and are experienced in follow-up, quality, and systematic improvement work. You are confident in decision-making and have a solution-focused approach.
We place great importance on personal qualities. You have a humble attitude, strong collaborative skills, and enjoy teamwork. You communicate well verbally and in writing, are comfortable with digital workflows, and use IT as a leadership support.
A driver's license is required.
