About this role

We are seeking a committed Unit Manager for our daily activities on Hisingen 4. As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for five result-oriented units operating at six different addresses. You will be the responsible unit manager for 16 employees, including two support pedagogues. The activities are aimed at users closest to the labor market and are characterized by participation, development, and meaningful occupation. Several of our operations are socially integrated, with collaboration with external actors such as hotel operations and other workplaces. The role of Unit Manager also involves extensive collaboration with other parts of the operations, such as healthcare. As Unit Manager, you have overall responsibility for the operations, including personnel, finances, and work environment, and work in collaborative networks to develop important issues related to target groups. You will also participate in operational development and quality work. To provide good conditions for your leadership, you will have support from operational developers, method developers, support pedagogues, an economist, and an HR specialist. As Unit Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and be part of the management team alongside other management colleagues responsible for daily activities and special housing services, as well as a method developer and an operational developer. Your office will be located at Selma Lagerlöfs Square. Qualifications A requirement for this position is a degree in social work, social care, behavioral science, or another education that the employer deems adequate for the operations. You need to have previous management experience, preferably in similar operations. Since the work involves several administrative tasks, we seek someone with good digital competence, experienced in working with various operational systems, and able to adopt new digital tools. You should express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We also prefer previous experience working with the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). Previous experience working with the Act on Freedom of Choice is meritorious. Good knowledge of economics is also positive. As our Unit Manager, it is important that you are motivated by clearly defined goals and can transform them into concrete action. At the same time, you are clear, gain support for thoughts and ideas, and can influence decisions in a certain direction.
