GÖTEBORGS KOMMUN
Are you someone who creates sustainable solutions and helps others grow? Do you have a strong drive for development and collaboration? If so, we are looking for you!
We are seeking a dedicated unit manager for our daily operations in the Center.
As a unit manager, you will be responsible for two units with a total of approximately 25 employees. The operations have different focuses, such as crafts and sensory experiences.
You will have overall responsibility for the development of the operations, including personnel, finances, and work environment. By participating in joint networks, you will contribute to developing initiatives for the target group. You will also be part of operational development and actively participate in quality work. In your role, you will receive support from an economist, HR specialist, method developer, operational developer, and staffing controller.
As a unit manager, you will report directly to the operations manager and be part of the management team alongside other managerial colleagues responsible for daily operations and housing with special services. Your office will be centrally located in Gothenburg.
A requirement for this position is that you have a degree in social work, social care, behavioral sciences, or other education that the employer considers adequate for the operations.
You need to have previous experience as a leader in relevant operations. You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as well as have good knowledge in finance. We also prefer that you have past experience working with SoL, LSS, HS, and LOV. Experience in daily operations is an advantage.
As a unit manager with us, it is important that you communicate information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, ensuring your message is conveyed. You are motivated by clearly defined goals and have the ability to translate these into concrete actions. You will follow up and report results and goal fulfillment.
We expect you to work well with others by listening, showing interest and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.
Finally, we want you to see your work as part of a larger context and collaborate with others on overarching issues to create value. You consider various sources of information and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your own operations.
In this recruitment process, you will answer several questions where you can describe your knowledge in the field instead of submitting a personal letter.
Interviews for this position will be held digitally via Teams on November 24, November 27, and November 28.
