Are you the one who creates proud employees? We are now seeking two committed and confident unit managers who want to make a real difference in people's lives.
In this role, you will be responsible for three activities within BmSS targeting individuals with intellectual disabilities. The operation encompasses approximately 25 employees, including a support educator with pedagogical responsibility. Your mission will be to lead, develop, and create conditions for our service users to achieve increased participation and influence in their lives. Your assignment includes responsibility for budget, personnel and work environment, as well as organizational development. Union collaboration is also an important and natural part of the role.
As a unit manager, you will have an exciting and meaningful assignment within the Support Services Administration, where we work to meet the needs of individuals with various functional variations. Together, we contribute to creating an inclusive society. You will become part of a dedicated and cohesive management team with 12 other unit managers, 1 method developer, and 1 staffing controller.

Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a 3-year university degree in social or behavioral sciences, or equivalent education that we assess as comparable.
You have management experience involving responsibility for budget, personnel, and organizational development. The operational area implements decisions within the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), so you need to have good knowledge of these laws.
We prefer candidates with experience working in a politically governed organization, and knowledge of Gothenburg City's management and quality tools is a plus. Experience in the disability support area or knowledge of neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities is advantageous.
