Unit Manager for Residential Services in Social Services

**Description** The Adult Department is responsible for public authority activities for individuals aged 25 and over and interventions for those aged 18 and over who have harmful use and dependency issues, mental disabilities, or both, i.e., individuals with comorbidity issues. The department employs approximately 200 staff across around 20 operations, including housing, housing support, treatment, family support, and public authority activities. We are now seeking a manager for residential services for individuals with mental disabilities. **Responsibilities** As a unit manager, you will be responsible for the quality and development of the operations, as well as budget, work environment, and personnel responsibilities. You are expected to maintain a focus on the department as a whole and will be part of the department's management team, which consists of eight unit managers and is led by the department head. You will work in an exciting, creative, and dynamic environment with significant opportunities for influence and impact alongside colleagues and staff. Experience working in social services is a requirement. Work experience in social psychiatry and/or psychiatric care and addiction treatment is advantageous, as is managerial experience in the public sector. You need to have a strong ability to work independently, take responsibility, and work strategically, as well as a good ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with your staff, colleagues, and partners.
