Welcome to Us
Bergsund is a care and nursing home centrally located in Södermalm with good transportation connections.
Here, there is space for 123 care recipients with both somatic and dementia diseases who need security and support in their daily lives.

We consider it meritorious if you have:
• Further education in leadership and organizational development
• Experience in change management/change work
• Experience from the private sector
• Experience from the City of Stockholm
Your Personality and Work Approach
We place great importance on personal qualities, motivation, and commitment to the position. In the role of unit manager, you work closely with employees, residents, and relatives, which places high demands on interest in the specific target group and understanding of the operation's challenges. You are confident and stable in the leadership role, with a good ability to maintain a professional approach at work. Your leadership style is based on clarity, structure, and stability. You are a role model and example, inspiring learning, development, and change. With a curious approach, you challenge the known and seek dialogue and different perspectives when solving problems.
Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation. You are goal and results-oriented and coach and motivate your employees towards established goals. You drive your work independently, are proactive, and remain motivated even when encountering obstacles. You have good collaboration skills and communicate clearly, ensuring expectations are clear to involved parties. You adapt your communication based on individual, target group, and situation.
The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at seeing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
