Role Description You will be part of the management group for the Community Development department, working in areas such as urban development, security, preparedness, digitalization, and governance. As a unit manager, you will have budget, results, and personnel responsibility for approximately ten employees. Your mission is to ensure a good work environment and long-term sustainable skills supply. You will utilize and develop employee competencies, conduct employee and salary discussions, and provide support in prioritizing your employees' work tasks. In addition to your role as unit manager, you will also have a leadership role in Vinnova's area structure, where the majority of the operations are conducted. Initially, you will be the deputy responsible for the Sustainable Value Chains area, which aims to develop sustainable, resilient, and circular value chains. This role may change over time based on government governance or Vinnova's priorities. Qualification Requirements - Academic degree in a field relevant to the position - Management and leadership experience in research and innovation - Experience and familiarity with representing an organization before decision-makers and external parties - A broad network in a field relevant to the position - Very good skills in Swedish and English. You express yourself well both verbally and in writing in both languages Meritorious Qualifications - Experience in research and innovation financing - Experience from a breadth, rather than depth, of societal sectors such as industry and public operations - Experience in preparedness, mobility, urban planning, or digitalization Personal Characteristics When hiring, we place great importance on personal characteristics. Placement We apply hybrid work, where employees have the opportunity to combine working from home and the office. At least half of the working time should be spent at our activity-based office at Mäster Samuelsgatan 56, which is a few minutes' walk from Stockholm Central Station. Employment Form This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. Salary 70,000 - 75,000 SEK/month.
