**Job Duties**
You report directly to the department head and are part of the department's management group, where collaboration and knowledge exchange are central. You have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, finances, and the work environment, and you work to develop quality, methods, and participation. Together with your employees, you drive the work forward with a focus on safety, respect, and good service. As the unit manager for personal assistance and the mobile team, you have a meaningful and varied assignment. You lead the operation that offers support through personal assistance, escorting, and respite care – services that truly make a difference in people's everyday lives!
**Qualifications**
You have a relevant higher education degree, preferably in social work, as well as experience in leadership within LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), social services, or similar operations, and are passionate about leadership and development. Other relevant experience deemed suitable by the employer may also be considered.

Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish according to the minority language law. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.

**Working Hours/Duration**
We offer a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours. A probationary period may apply.
