JOB DESCRIPTION
Your mission as a unit manager is to plan, lead, and drive your operations based on a user focus where the individual's needs are at the center. Finding the best solutions for the individual and achieving high user satisfaction is a given goal. You will be responsible for operations, finances, personnel, and working environment. To meet future demands and expectations, a systematic quality assurance process is a natural part of your leadership role. As a unit manager, you are responsible for staffing and recruitment, as well as actively working with your teams. The role involves a high degree of collaboration across various arenas, which requires your ability and willingness to create good relationships and collaboration. Through your leadership style, resource allocation, and development efforts, you provide your staff with the right conditions to deliver quality care and support. This role includes being the Duty Manager (Chef i beredskap, CiB).
As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for your operations, focusing on creating security and quality for our care recipients as well as a good working environment for our employees. You will be a vital part of a new management team where we set the direction forward together. We believe in collaboration, openness, and building a workplace where both heart and mind have a place.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with commitment, drive, and a willingness to continue developing elderly care in Bollebygd. You have experience in leadership within care and support, and you are passionate about creating good conditions for both staff and care recipients. You are confident in your role as a leader, like to think innovatively, and have a genuine interest in people.
Requirements:
• A degree from a relevant higher education institution, preferably with a focus on social work, health and medical care, organization, or leadership, or another higher education that the employer considers equivalent.
• Experience as a manager, preferably within elderly care or another care and support service.
Meritorious:
• Experience working in care and support.
To succeed in the role of unit manager, you must be able to prioritize your work, find different solutions, demonstrate decisiveness, and get things done. You find it easy to prioritize and create structure in your work.
Together with your staff, as well as with your fellow managers and the operations manager, you will work with clear goals and follow-ups as a natural working method. Alongside your colleagues, you will drive common operational issues, so we see that you have a holistic view of elderly care and can adapt both yourself and the organization to new challenges and needs. You are a confident leader, and your leadership style is characterized by open and direct communication, a lack of pretentiousness, and attentiveness.
