JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a Unit Manager for the Nursing Unit who wants to take on the challenge of continuing to develop municipal primary healthcare and its employees. The position involves shared leadership of the nursing unit in close collaboration with fellow managers. It is a challenging assignment, but with good support from a stable organization, engaged and competent employees, and a well-functioning management team. You will receive clear, present, and committed support from the operations manager. Exciting organization-wide development work is ongoing to improve all managers' daily conditions and to improve the organization's culture. We have an open and constructive collaboration climate with social services, elderly care, home care services, support functions, private providers, and our healthcare neighbors. We have good employee survey results and excellent patient safety culture measurements. We are not satisfied, however, and want to continue developing both leadership and employee engagement to smartly meet the future. Our direction is towards an even more team-based, proactive, and patient-centered care. We seek someone who wants to participate in further developing a digitized, patient-safe, and cost-effective municipal healthcare with approaches that create job satisfaction and sustainable work environments. You will lead together with other unit managers but have individual responsibility for a portion of the unit's employees, finances, and work environment tasks. You will ensure patients and their families receive personalized, secure, and safe care that exceeds expectations in a cost-effective manner. An important part of your responsibilities will include continuing to develop work methods and relationships within healthcare collaboration SAMLA. As unit manager, you are responsible for leading and inspiring employees to achieve organizational goals. You are expected to work with a present and coaching approach, creating conditions for the organization's improvement groups, coordinators, and administrators to continue developing skills and work methods. Your tasks significantly include ensuring employees can develop and contribute to good collaboration with other organizational representatives. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in the role, we seek candidates with: - At least one year of verified experience as a first-line manager in municipal primary healthcare - Multiple years of experience as a licensed nurse in municipal primary healthcare - Formal competence in Developmental Leadership, economics, and work environment, especially focusing on social health risks - Documented experience leading patient safety, improvement, and development work in similar areas, preferably with digitalization and career path model orientation - Strong communication skills and ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - Good knowledge of administrative systems and digital tools used in municipal operations Significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
