The Rehabilitation Unit is a central part of the Social Services' health and medical care and consists of experienced and dedicated occupational therapists and physiotherapists. Together, we work to provide residents in home care, special accommodations, and day services with safe, equitable, and individualized high-quality care—in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act and the municipality's mission.

Job Responsibilities
The Health and Medical Care area is an inspiring and innovative workplace where collaboration, patient safety, and person-centered care form the foundation. We are now looking for a unit manager who wants to help lead the development of our rehabilitation unit.
You will be responsible for the area that includes occupational therapists and will work in close leadership with the unit manager for physiotherapists and assistive technology specialists. Together, you will drive the operations forward and create coherence and shared understanding in the rehabilitation chain.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing, and following up on operations within your area to ensure good, safe, and equitable care and rehabilitation.
- Working in close collaboration both internally and externally, for example, with other professionals, managers, and external partners.
- Ensuring that employees work based on evidence-based methods, applicable guidelines, and the municipality's goals.
- Monitoring quality, work environment, and finances, and translating results into concrete improvements.
- Creating a work environment where employees feel secure, take responsibility, and are given the opportunity to drive quality work and development themselves.
As a manager, you lead through trust, clarity, and presence. You motivate, coach, and provide space for professionals to fully utilize their competencies, while also offering stability, direction, and support when circumstances change.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist. A license as an occupational therapist is an advantage. Experience in leadership or management is also a merit. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
