About this role
In the City of Mölndal, we are proud to have Sweden's most important jobs where we together create the best possible everyday life for our citizens. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's daily lives every day!
The Care and Social Services Administration, with approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the departments in the City of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, disability support, and healthcare.
The Assignment Department is responsible for official authority according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) within the areas of elderly care and disability support. The department is also responsible for contracts with and follow-up of private providers, as well as the administration's fee management. The department also includes system management and operational support for all activities within the Care and Social Services Committee's area of responsibility. Close collaboration occurs between units, as well as with the authority unit primarily responsible for discharge from inpatient care, organized within the administration's healthcare area, and the Social and Labor Market Administration.
As our current unit manager for Social Psychiatry Authority is moving on to new assignments, we are seeking you who want to continue the work of developing the operation together with employees and colleagues in the Assignment Department, the administration, and the City of Mölndal.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for the Social Psychiatry Authority, a unit with eight social workers and one senior social worker. Together, you work with official authority according to SoL and LSS, primarily within the target group of adults with mental functional impairments. You lead and develop the operation with a holistic perspective, focusing on social workers' responsibilities throughout the social service process.
The role involves personnel, budget, operational, and work environment responsibilities, where you will closely collaborate with other authority units, other units in the administration, and other city departments. You will participate in collaboration and development projects and substitute colleagues in the Assignment Department as needed. As the unit is relatively small, other assignments may also become relevant.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with a degree in social work or social care and several years of management experience in official authority within SoL/social psychiatry and preferably LSS. You have knowledge and experience with IBIC (Individual-Based Needs Assessment) and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
- Work with comorbidity issues
- The Treserva/Mitt Treserva operational system
- Digitalization and AI
- Work as a manager in service-providing operations
As a person, you are confident in your leadership and have a respectful approach. You work with a holistic perspective, are attentive, and create space for dialogue. You are motivated by clear goals and can transform them into action. You are collaborative and contribute to a good work climate where we collectively achieve our goals.
You can oversee your own area of responsibility and place your own operation's significance in a broader context. You show interest in and collaborate on overarching issues to create added value. You consider different information sources and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your own operation.
You have good computer skills and excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
