We are growing! ASIH in Malmö is in an exciting period where we are thinking innovatively and want to develop our operations! As the unit is set to expand to meet care needs, we are now extending our team with a colleague to work alongside the current unit manager. Specialized palliative care and advanced home healthcare (ASIH) provides care for patients of all ages with complex symptoms or special life circumstances. The care focuses on alleviating symptoms and creating the best possible quality of life for patients with incurable illnesses and their loved ones. Holistic patient care encompasses the physical, psychological, social, and existential needs of patients and their families. We perform medical interventions and provide psychosocial support 24 hours a day. Specialized palliative care is the main mission, but ASIH can also provide time-limited interventions as part of curative treatment.
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is for you who want to work with close leadership and are passionate about developing the organization. As a unit manager with us, you will lead an engaged and competent team that works every day to make a difference for our patients.
In this role, you will work from a holistic perspective with shared management responsibility for operations, economics, and approximately 55 employees. Close collaboration and experience exchange with the area's five other unit managers is a crucial part of your work and provides significant opportunities to influence the organization's development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a driven and curious manager with strong communication skills. It is crucial that you can and want to complement the current unit manager, with a focus on good collaboration. The role includes budget, personnel, and operational responsibilities, which means planning and following up resources, leading and supporting employees, and ensuring the organization reaches its goals efficiently and qualitatively.
We are looking for someone with a college or university degree in healthcare or other education and experience deemed relevant by the employer. Excellent Swedish language skills, both verbal and written, are required. A valid B driver's license is also required as travel is part of the job. Experience working as a manager or leader is meritorious.
