Unit Manager LSS Omsorgen is a care and support organization that was established in 2007, with extensive expertise in treatment and the care sector. We aim to provide a structured and meaningful everyday life for our target group. Our guiding principles are stability, security, and competence. All are equally important to us, both for our residents and participants as well as for relatives and when recruiting new staff. Today, we have our headquarters in Gothenburg, with operations in Köping, Heby, Fjällbacka, and Järlåsa. We offer both housing and daily activities. We are a growing company and will expand our operations in several locations. Job Description We need an experienced and innovative unit manager for our group home in Fjällbacka Municipality. The residence has 6 apartments and common areas. LSS Omsorgen is in an expansive phase and will be adding several new residences. We find development exciting and are looking for someone who wants to help build a new residence and daily activities. You will be involved in developing sustainable structures for both users and employees, as well as managing the organization. We seek someone with a modern leadership style where close supervision constitutes a significant part of your work time, both as a methodological support and through employee-driven change efforts. The organization places great emphasis on working according to the principles of low-arousal responses. You will be the responsible manager for 6 users and approximately 10-15 employees. The target group at the residence consists of individuals according to Group 1, LSS. As a unit manager, you are responsible for ensuring that users receive care and support of good quality based on individual needs, in collaboration with employees. You will also work closely with other support functions, such as the finance manager, contract manager, HR, quality and startup manager within the organization, as well as with the municipalities placing users. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead, support, and engage employees to achieve set goals. You should have experience as a manager/leader, with the ability and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively. You should be able to handle many different challenges simultaneously, be forward-thinking, and have a vision. It is also important that you have a focus on operations, the ability to see the big picture, and the capability to find solutions to arising situations. You want and have the ability to lead a developing operation. Since the role includes being a methodological support for employees, experience in this area is required, especially in working in accordance with low-arousal responses and clear pedagogy. You should have a relevant higher education, such as in behavioral science, occupational therapy, social pedagogy, or social work. Good knowledge of LSS, the Social Services Act, the Health and Medical Services Act, and the Work Environment Act is valued. Training in leadership and organization is an advantage.
