About the position As the unit manager for our emergency stock, you will have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and driving the stock operations within the framework of civil preparedness in the Network division. You will ensure that our stock is appropriately sized, efficient, and ready for use when needed—whether in times of crisis, supply chain disruptions, or heightened preparedness. You will be responsible for developing and managing existing operations to meet established requirements. You will actively participate in the strategic development of the stock operations in close collaboration with the rest of the organization. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading and developing the unit and its employees. • Ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, agreements, and safety procedures. • Responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting on operations and budget. • Management of our stock. • Developing processes for logistics, quality assurance, and preparedness planning. • Responsibility for budget and personnel. As a unit manager, you will also have: • Personnel and results responsibility. • Conducting regular development and salary discussions. • Monitoring the work within the unit and reporting to the section manager. • Resource management of your own staff as well as resource consultants. The stock and supply unit currently consists of three people but intends to grow significantly in the near future. About you Mandatory requirements: To thrive in this role, we see that you enjoy taking responsibility and leading your tasks in a structured manner. We see that you have relevant education in logistics, preparedness, management; alternatively, equivalent education or skills acquired in other ways that Swedish National Grid assesses as equivalent. Furthermore, you have: • Previous experience as a manager with personnel and budget responsibility. • Previous experience in logistics and stock operations. • Documented experience in driving change initiatives in a complex environment. • Documented experience within the framework of civil preparedness in the energy sector. • Ability to translate a complex set of requirements into concrete actions within your operational area. • A valid B driver's license. • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is considered an advantage if you have: • Knowledge and experience in project management. • Forklift certification categories A1-A4, B1-B4, as well as a loader certificate (C2). • Documented knowledge of explosives.
