Tranemo Municipality is seeking two dedicated and driven Unit Managers for our Municipal Primary Healthcare. WORK TASKS Our municipal primary healthcare offers health and medical interventions according to the healthcare agreement within VGR. We work closely with patients, always focusing on safety, quality, and continuity. We also collaborate with other professional categories within the care section and, when necessary, with external actors. In Tranemo Municipality, municipal primary healthcare works in a team-based manner, which means you will lead nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation/nursing resources in a shared leadership with a management colleague. You will be responsible for developing and creating an efficient organization with good internal and external collaboration with other actors around the patient, such as MAS (Medically Responsible Nurse), other management colleagues within the care section, regional primary healthcare, and inpatient care. You will be part of the management group for authority and health and medical care. As a Unit Manager, you have overall responsibility for the municipal primary healthcare operations. This means you will: • Lead, plan, and develop the operations based on municipal goals, guidelines, and values. • Have personnel, budget, and work environment responsibilities. • Support, coach, and motivate your employees in their daily work. • Ensure high-quality care that is patient-safe and follows applicable laws and guidelines. • Drive development and improvement work, including digitalization and collaboration. • Collaborate closely with other operations, healthcare centers, and regional healthcare organizations. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a confident and clear leader with the ability to inspire, create participation, and drive change processes. You have a strong commitment to quality home care and want to help develop the future of municipal primary healthcare in Tranemo Municipality. As a person, you are responsible, attentive, initiative-taking, self-driven, have good collaboration skills, and work to build sustainable relationships internally and externally. As a Unit Manager, you are driven to develop healthcare within municipal primary care with future challenges, where the transition to good and close care is one example. You are a Unit Manager who can switch between coaching, leading, and steering your unit and are comfortable making decisions. You create conditions for the operation to function best for both patients and employees. The assignment includes maintaining good collaboration with labor unions. To succeed in your role, we want you to, in addition to personal suitability, have: • Completed higher education in healthcare as an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or nurse, or other relevant higher education that the employer deems appropriate, and have completed leadership training. • Good knowledge of healthcare regulations. Meritorious if you have: • Management experience in municipal or regional primary healthcare. OTHER Interviews will be conducted on December 3rd and 4th, 2025.
