Försäkringskassan is responsible for administering the state dental care support and ensuring compliance with the regulations. Dental care control is present in several locations across Sweden, and we are in an exciting phase of development. By 2026, we will have 7 units with approximately 120 control investigators. We are now seeking an experienced and goal-oriented unit manager for our control unit in Malmö. You will join a management team that drives and develops the operations together. Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace As a unit manager, you are the leader closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state’s core values permeate your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as responsibility for results and follow-up for the teams in your unit. Your unit consists of approximately 20 employees who work with the control of the state dental care support and are based in Malmö. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You foster understanding of the context, direction, and the goals set by the department and develop the plans your operations require. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management team, which consists of unit managers, controllers, HR, and administrative assistants, where you contribute your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that enables employees to use their judgment and skills. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, as a prospective employee, have a strong sense of security. This is a job for those who want to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who: • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications • possesses strong leadership skills • promotes the professional and personal development of others • works to achieve goals and results, following up on the effects of their own and others' activities • has a systematic approach to work • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals • has good self-awareness and is stable as a person, fostering a trust-building work climate • encourages mutual dialogue, is attentive, and adapts their communication according to needs and situations. It is advantageous if you: • have experience working as a manager in a similar investigative environment • have experience in production management of case handling • have experience leading through change • have experience planning your operations in collaboration with managerial colleagues remotely.
