As a unit manager at the Infectious Disease Clinic, you will lead the operation together with a colleague in a shared leadership role. Job Responsibilities
As a unit manager, you will be part of a shared leadership team, where you will jointly plan, implement, follow up, and drive development based on the objectives of the operation. The role also entails close collaboration with safety representatives and union representatives, where you will collectively discuss and advance workplace-related issues.
You will be part of the management team and share responsibility for approximately 50 employees with your unit manager colleague. The role allows you to influence strategic decisions, develop work processes, and create conditions for the success of both employees and the organization.

About the Workplace
The Infectious Disease Clinic has a regional responsibility for highly specialized infectious disease care and consists of an inpatient unit and an outpatient clinic. The inpatient unit primarily cares for patients with acute, severe, and/or complicated infectious conditions, such as sepsis. The workplace is characterized by a fast pace, close collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, and a need for present managers who can provide support and quick decision-making paths. The outpatient clinic is responsible for patients with HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and immunodeficiencies, where specialized knowledge, continuity, and a holistic perspective are central. The clinic stands out for its focus on education, continued training, and research.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a higher education in a healthcare profession or other equivalent education deemed relevant. You have experience in a leadership role, preferably with personnel responsibility in a complex organization. It is meritorious if you have leadership training, particularly in developmental leadership, as well as experience in leading change and development efforts. We would also like you to have foundational knowledge in systematic work environment management (SAM) and labor law. You have good systems skills and can work comfortably with various digital tools.
The position requires you to be driven, engaged, and curious about developing both people and the organization. We see you as a confident and stable leader with good self-awareness, who can communicate clearly and create the conditions for employees to achieve shared goals. You have the ability to listen, foster dialogue, and handle challenges and conflicts constructively. The role suits you if you enjoy close collaboration and value the strength of shared leadership. You contribute your experiences, embrace others' perspectives, and make decisions together with your colleagues.
Employment Conditions
Permanent position in your primary profession, temporary managerial appointment for 4 years, full-time.
