Do you want to be part of developing Support Services within Falkenberg Municipality? One of the unit managers is moving on to new challenges, and we are therefore looking for their successor. Could it be you? You will be one of three unit managers responsible for daily operations, and you will be one of 12 unit managers in the management team for Support Services, which encompasses LSS and Social Psychiatry. The Support Services area has rapidly expanded with new operations and the re-acquisition of services that were previously privately managed. JOB DESCRIPTION As a unit manager, you will lead, plan, and coordinate the operations, with responsibility for finances, work environment, and personnel. Your role also includes quality and development work based on set goals and the needs of the operations. The management role involves close contact with participants, relatives, colleagues, and the organization/administration. You report to the area manager and are part of the management team for Support Services. You will have your managerial colleagues close at hand, administrative support from an assistant and team coordinator, and you will also work closely with the area's method developers. You will work towards a positive work climate, promote participation and creativity to create motivation and engagement. You aim to build, organize, and develop the operations to meet future needs. To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to collaborate in a shared leadership model with your two closest colleagues related to daily operations. The role requires an approachable and coaching leadership style. QUALIFICATIONS You have a strong interest in supporting people with disabilities and want to help organize, build, and develop the operations. To succeed as a unit manager, it is beneficial if you are innovative and have a strong interest in working with continuous improvements. As a leader, you are clear and create conditions for employee participation. You have a genuine interest in people, good collaboration skills, and the ability to leverage others' competencies and ideas. As a person, you are clear, coaching, flexible, good at communicating, and have the ability to stimulate and motivate your employees. We are looking for someone who can contribute to operational development with empathy and commitment. Experience in leadership with personnel/budget and work environment responsibility is a requirement. Experience in leadership within daily operations/labor market or equivalent as deemed by the employer is a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
