About the Workplace The Functional Support Department's mission is to ensure that city residents with disabilities can live a dignified life and experience well-being. Job Responsibilities An overall goal of daily activities is to develop the individual's opportunities for employment in the short or long term. As a unit manager in daily activities under LSS, you have a multifaceted and meaningful assignment. You are responsible for leading and developing the organization based on individual needs, focusing on participation, security, and work-oriented activity. You coach and support employees in daily work, create good conditions for collaboration, and ensure that quality and structure permeate the organization. The assignment includes personnel management, organizational development, and collaboration with internal and external actors. The work requires a present leader to create an inclusive everyday life where each participant can grow according to their conditions. The position requires great trust in the task and among the management team. Qualifications You should have a suitable college/bachelor's degree, and we want you to have work experience from a leadership position, preferably within LSS activities or social services. We also want you to have professional knowledge in the work area, system understanding, analytical ability, and a holistic view. This is to continuously evaluate the organization and to analyze and assess internal and external factors affecting the organization that must be managed from a holistic perspective. Your leadership style is characterized by trust-based leadership, you have good communication skills, high awareness of the importance of participation, and you lead towards results based on the assignment.
