About this role

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your production expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You will directly report to the Quality Director D&IS CNE and support the Engineering Team to ensure that the deliveries from the site meet the required quality standards. We’ll look to you for: Ensuring that Engineering standards are well known and applied: • Alerting in case of deviations, • Managing corrective actions when necessary, • Proposing improvements when relevant, • Managing Engineering Quality audits. Improving Quality Engineering standards through experience feedback: • Managing a non-recurrent list of top issues and checking for recurrence in project execution, • Leading the REX committee and integrating experience feedback into Engineering standards and golden rules. Ensuring that Tender Design Review and Tender Gate Review are implemented, monitored, and maintained: • Optimizing the DFQ checklist for Engineering deliverables and Design Review, • Implementing experience feedback in the DFQ checklist for Engineering deliverables and the Design Review checklist, • Attending and preparing for Tender Gate Review and product development. Managing the assurance of the quality of Metier Engineering deliverables: • Checking the quality status of Engineering deliverables, including experience feedback, • Supporting GR preparation regarding Engineering scope, • Ensuring the quality of Engineering Suppliers (engineering sub-contractors), • Linking engineering and manufacturing engineering (design for manufacturing), • Deploying process/product FMEA: critical characteristics. Ensuring that Design Reviews are efficiently conducted: • Challenging and checking the consistency of the Design Review against Project Risks, • Ensuring that Design Reviews are well prepared and fuel the GR process, • Following the action plan and updating the Design Review status. Managing Engineering Quality issues: • Ensuring that the problem-solving process is properly applied and meets the objectives, • Ensuring that the Engineering team is included in the Customer issues solving process (if needed), • Updating Quality Engineering KPIs and proposing action plans for improvement when necessary, • Proposing and following up on action plans for improvement. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: • Master’s degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical) or equivalent, • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools, • Knowledge of the railway industry (norms, certifications) would be an asset, • Fluent in English; Swedish would be an asset.
