**About the position**
In this role, you will position yourself at the critical crossroads of technical leadership and product delivery, driving the systems that form a comprehensive defense against financial crime. You’ll lead engineering teams in building scalable, resilient KYC and AML solutions that help businesses reduce exposure to financial risk, avoid regulatory penalties, and operate with confidence across global markets. If you want to lead engineers while solving product challenges in Regtech, this role is for you.
**What are you going to do?**
• **Team Leadership:** Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment with a focus on people, processes, and outcomes.
• **Development Management:** Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
• **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals, and ensure clear communication and coordination across departments.
• **Empowering the product teams:** Drive development culture for high performance, high-quality output, and high engagement for the outcome and successful and inspiring ways of working.
• **Talent Development:** Identify and nurture talent within the team, including performance evaluations, skills development, and career progression, to enhance the overall capabilities of the engineering organization.
• **Strategic Planning:** Contribute to the development of the tech organization's long-term strategy and goals, aligning engineering efforts with company objectives.
• **Technical Guidance:** Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping to overcome challenges and achieve technical excellence.
• **Quality Assurance:** Ensure software development processes include rigorous quality assurance measures and compliance with industry best practices.
**What will you bring to the team?**
• Previous experience working as a Full Stack Developer, 5+ years
• Fluent English is required as all communication and deliverables will be in English
• Strong skills in agile development processes
• Strong communication skills; you can manage relationships, stakeholders, team members, and keep them involved and engaged.
• Team building and leadership skills; it's natural for you to motivate, engage, and nurture team members
• Fluent in Swedish is a plus!
