Aspen is a workplace where we support each other, and where your contributions truly make a difference—every day. **Your Responsibilities** You will teach English at Aspen, but there is also the possibility to teach an additional subject depending on your qualifications and the needs of the organization. The position includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as adapting instruction based on students' individual needs and circumstances. You will work closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and the student health team to create a safe and developmental learning environment. Mentorship may be included in the role. You will also be involved in the school's development work and contribute to further developing our approaches to special support and inclusion. **Qualifications** - A teaching license with authorization to teach English for both intermediate (grades 4–6) and upper secondary (grades 7–9) is required. - You must also be authorized to teach either Swedish or Home Economics at the upper secondary level. - Experience working with students in need of special support is an advantage. - You have a strong ability to create structure, safety, and good relationships with students. - You are flexible, solution-focused, and have an inclusive approach. - You possess good collaboration skills and want to contribute to the development of the school and Aspen. - You need to have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to teach and document according to the school's requirements. **We Are Looking For You Who** - Is passionate about making a difference for students who need extra support and guidance. - Sees opportunities in every student and has a positive and solution-focused approach. - Is engaged, curious, and wants to develop alongside colleagues. - Enjoys working in a team and values collaboration and open communication. - Has the ability to create structure and safety in teaching, even when circumstances change. - Wants to contribute to an inclusive and developmental learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
