Rosenlund unit consists of five preschools, including Orion, Wollmar, and Sachsgatan. Our preschools are located close to the city, nature, and culture, which we naturally integrate into our education and teaching. We are now seeking two committed childcare workers who want to help create a safe and stimulating everyday life for children aged 1-5 years. You will work with all age groups and be involved in daily teaching, which largely takes place outdoors - regardless of weather and season. Preschool core hours are 6:30 AM–6:30 PM, and working hours are scheduled according to a rotating shift system. What We Offer We provide a permanent full-time position with collective agreement. Read more about Stockholm city benefits here Your Role As a childcare worker with us, you will collaborate closely with preschool teachers and colleagues to create a safe, playful, and educational environment for all children. You will be involved in both care and teaching, contributing to the development of operations in line with preschool goals and core values. Each week, time is set aside for joint planning and reflection in the team, where your thoughts and ideas are an important part of the whole. You help ensure the preschool day runs smoothly and ensure that both care and education are permeated by children's participation and influence. You will have daily contact with guardians, meeting them with commitment and respect, and participate in parent meetings and other parent activities. Together with your colleagues, you create a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment where each child has the opportunity to grow and learn. Your Competence and Experience We are seeking someone who: - Has a childcare worker education - Has practical experience working in preschool - Is well-versed in preschool governing documents and can apply them in daily work - Has good Swedish language skills Additional merits include experience with: - Digital learning platforms - Tempus scheduling and attendance system - Working in Stockholm city We seek an engaged and genuinely interested childcare worker who is passionate about working with children and creating stimulating and safe preschool teaching.
