About this role
About the position: We are looking for two dedicated female personal assistants on a part-time basis for a cheerful, creative, and active girl living in Kullavik. She loves swimming, framerunning, baking, art, traveling, animals – and why not a visit to Liseberg now and then? She currently lives at home with her parents but is looking for her own apartment. She lives with Dandy-Walker and CP (ataxia) and needs support with, among other things, transfers, personal care, and communication. As an assistant, you will be a central part of her daily life, supporting her with practical tasks and social activities, helping to create security and structure, and contributing to an active, fun, and joyful existence.
On weekdays, she attends a daily activity program from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, where she works in a second-hand store. After her workday, she is met by her assistant with a taxi – together you can take a walk with the little dog, cook, or engage in other activities, such as a visit to the hairdresser or habilitation. She has clear and structured routines that outline what needs to be done and how – for example, evening routines and shower days – which creates security and clarity for both her and you as an assistant.
We place great importance on personal suitability to find an assistant who contributes to a pleasant atmosphere and good collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Transfers and ADL support.
• Cooking and household chores.
• Support with communication, training, and social activities.
• Accompanying her to the swimming pool, trips, and activities.
• Assistance with clothing choices and dressing/undressing.
• Reading texts (newspapers, TV, etc.).
• Taking care of and walking the dog.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is in good physical shape and ready to assist with all transfers and personal care.
• Is a competent swimmer, as swimming is an important part of her leisure time.
• Holds a driver's license and is comfortable driving her car.
• Is smoke-free and tolerant of pets.
• Has basic knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written).
We believe you are:
• Positive, attentive, and gentle in your approach.
• Creative, humorous, and calm.
• Independent and flexible, yet enjoys routines.
• Driven, proactive, and active, who likes to create joy in everyday life.
Scope & Work Arrangement:
• Start date: As agreed.
• Agreement: The position starts as an hourly employment to give both of you the opportunity to assess and ensure that the collaboration works well. Once everything runs smoothly and you enjoy working together, the hourly position will transition to part-time.
• Work shifts: Afternoon, evening, and night with on-call duties, as well as weekends. More daytime hours during holidays and breaks.
What do we offer you? Working as a personal assistant is more than just a job – it is a way to facilitate everyday life for someone else while feeling that you contribute something important. We value your skills and commitment, and we see each individual as a valuable part of our team. With us, you will receive:
• Internal training to strengthen your skills and confidence in the role.
• Guidance and support in daily life from our experienced team.
• Favorable employment conditions according to collective agreements.
• Generous wellness benefits for those with permanent positions.
With us, you will become an important part of a team where everyone strives towards the same goal. You will have a workplace where you are seen, appreciated, and where your contributions are significant.
