Fredkullaskolan is a Waldorf school with approximately 170 students, from preschool to year 9. About the Position
We are seeking an engaged class teacher who wants to take over teaching a 3rd-grade class that will become 4th grade after the summer break. The temporary position starts on February 2, 2026. The first three weeks, you will work alongside the current teacher to get to know the class and the school's pedagogy. During the winter sports break, you will have time to delve deeper into the class and Waldorf pedagogy before taking over the teaching completely from March 2.
There are good opportunities for continued employment as a class teacher after the temporary position if we get along well.

Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to LGR22 and Waldorf pedagogy
• Collaborate with colleagues, school management, and student health team
• Build relationships with students and guardians through documentation, meetings, and weekly letters
• Integrate nature experiences, play, and crafts into teaching to strengthen students' creativity and curiosity
Qualifications:
• Education as a class teacher with qualification for primary school
• Waldorf certification, or alternatively, state certification for grades 1-3 or 4-6
• Good understanding of curriculum and steering document goals
• Ability to create a safe and inspiring learning environment
• Approved police background check
Meriting Factors:
• Experience as a class teacher
• Education or experience with Waldorf pedagogy
