Börringebarnen is a parent cooperative preschool with space for approximately 36 children and around 10 staff members. Our small size provides you with significant opportunities to influence the operations. We have always been proud to serve homemade meals made from scratch. We are looking for a qualified chef with experience working in a preschool kitchen. You are independent and confident in taking responsibility for all kitchen tasks. The position in the kitchen is 75%, but there is an opportunity to work full-time with 25% cleaning or in a child group if desired. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals for children and staff within the preschool, including special dietary needs
• Plan menus, order supplies, and check deliveries
• Some budget responsibility
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen according to the regulations set by the Food Agency for self-control
• Participate with other staff in the planning and development of the preschool's operations
