About this role
A smart and meaningful choice
Are you passionate about team development? Are you interested in leadership and creating a positive work environment?
Your new workplace
Hallsta is one of Europe's leading mills specializing in specialty paper. We are driving the development towards the future of paper products with a strong focus on sustainability. Our products are climate neutral, and our mill is currently completely self-sufficient in steam. The desire to do a great job and contribute to a greener future is evident. With us, you will find nearly 400 employees. Hallsta Paper Mill has a tradition of innovation and development, which makes us a successful mill today. We are conveniently located along the beautiful Roslagen coast, within commuting distance from larger towns such as Norrtälje and Uppsala.
Your future challenge
As a team leader at Hallsta Paper Mill, you will play a central role in creating a workplace where people thrive, develop, and take pride in their work. You will serve as the group manager for two teams in the pulp department – a day shift team and a 2-shift team – giving you the opportunity to influence both daily operations and future directions.
Your mission is to build engagement, ensure a safe work environment, and drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with your team members. You will be responsible for planning, staffing, and budgeting, while closely cooperating with colleagues across the mill. Here, you will have the chance to develop both people and processes while contributing to a sustainable and innovative operation.
The role is suited for you if you want to be a part of shaping the future of leadership – and if you see opportunities to inspire others to grow.
To succeed in the role
If you are ready for a new challenge where you can lead and develop others, this may be the role for you. Do you enjoy creating engagement, building strong teams, and working towards a safe work environment? If so, you will fit in well with us. We are looking for someone with post-secondary education or equivalent experience. You should have experience in workplace safety and be accustomed to working systematically with issues such as risk assessments and safety protocols. As a team leader, you build trust with your team members, are receptive, communicate in a simple and clear manner, and actively work with feedback.
It is advantageous if you have prior experience in managing staff or working in the process industry. Additionally, if you have led projects or improvement initiatives, we will consider that an extra plus.
With us, you will have the opportunity to grow as a leader and contribute to a workplace where people thrive, develop, and take pride in their contributions. Welcome to take the next step with us!
We offer you
We offer you a developing role with significant responsibility. We have an open and welcoming atmosphere characterized by our values of courage, engagement, and responsibility. We view equality and diversity as strengths.
With us, you will experience the best of both worlds. At Hallsta Paper Mill, you work in a non-prestigious organization with quick decision-making processes and a short distance from ideas to implementation. While we are small enough for you to influence, we also possess the strength of a corporate group with the capacity to implement development and change.
