**Information about the position**
Professionals Nord is seeking an Emission Engineer on behalf of our client. Our client is one of the world's leading companies in energy technology, developing sustainable solutions for power generation and industrial energy systems. The business is global and is based on a combination of innovation, research, and modern technology to help customers create reliable, efficient, and climate-friendly energy.
The assignment is part of our personnel leasing. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client for 24 months. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
**About the role**
As an Emission Engineer, you will work at the intersection of technology and sustainability. You will work closely with gas turbines and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cleaner energy solutions. Your tasks will include, among others:
- Performing emissions measurements and emissions mapping during gas turbine testing.
- Analyzing emissions data to ensure performance and compliance.
- Supporting internal sales teams and customers with questions regarding emissions guarantees.
- Working with advanced measurement systems to measure NOx, NH₃, COx, and formaldehyde.
- Participating in customer witness tests alongside certified measurement technology partners.
- Contributing to sustainability efforts through Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).
- Participating in commercial processes, bid support, and customer guarantee negotiations.
**We are looking for someone who:**
- Is a qualified engineer in a relevant technical field or a college engineer with equivalent experience.
- Has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Has very good knowledge of English and a basic understanding of Swedish—sufficient to follow safety briefings and communication in a testing environment.
**Meritorious:**
- Experience in emissions measurement and measurement systems.
- Experience in Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).
- Experience in customer dialogues, witness tests, and technical presentations.
- Experience in testing and development environments.
- Good knowledge of Swedish.
