About this role
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in embedded development who wants to develop tomorrow's measurement and control systems for the industry. Apply today! Selection is ongoing.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Our client manufactures measurement systems for the industry, using their own developed technology. They create all components - developing the electronics, software, and the mechanics that house them. The team has a broad area of responsibility, but you will primarily work on electronics development, as well as the embedded software that is part of the product. You will participate in development projects, create modules for evaluation and testing, for example, through virtual environments where you can independently run software tests. You will also collaborate closely with hardware developers and evaluate products in a lab environment. At our client, you will not only have the opportunity to participate in the development of future technology but also the freedom to be involved in the process from idea to finished product. They value curiosity and interest in the entire product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and testing embedded systems, both software and hardware.
• Working with C++ and modern development tools such as Visual Studio and DevOps.
• Taking responsibility for modules and conducting unit tests and integration tests in virtual environments.
• Collaborating closely with hardware developers in a lab environment to evaluate and improve system functionality.
In their modern work environment, they also advocate for a flexible work culture with opportunities for remote work 2-3 days a week.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
• Holds a Master's degree in, for example, electrical engineering, computer engineering, technical physics, or equivalent.
• Has 3-5 years of work experience with embedded systems, preferably in C++, within industrial automation.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in your work.
• Has an interest in self-leadership and enjoys working in a smaller team where you have the opportunity to influence and take significant responsibility.
It is an advantage if you come from one of the larger industrial companies.
As a person, we see that you have an interest and curiosity to understand the entire product. You are independent, responsible, and appreciate being able to set the structure and your tasks. For the right person, there are opportunities to eventually take on a product owner role, if the interest and drive are there.
