You will join our Core Technologies Embedded Analytics team, responsible for the foundation of Axis's long-term technology in video analytics. We deliver new core technology functionality for Axis's future analytics applications and solutions.

What You'll Do as an Embedded Software Engineer
You will play a vital role in the Core Technologies Embedded Analytics team. Your main focus will be on algorithms at the research frontline, as well as developing production-ready, high-quality algorithms for Linux embedded systems.
The position is hands-on in a highly skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork, and great spirit.
We work with state-of-the-art methods for video analytics algorithms and software development within deep learning and classical computer vision. You'll collaborate closely with many other development teams in product and solutions organizations to bring new capabilities to life.
The responsibilities include enabling new product features and mastering complex problems, especially within the deep learning domain. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our embedded system performance and continue the exciting development path until we launch new competitive products and solutions.
Who Are You?
We believe you are an engineer with a genuine interest in video analytics algorithms and software development for both deep learning and classical computer vision.
We envision a pragmatic and structured person with an open and curious mindset. You are communicative and enjoy teamwork. You likely have an engineering master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics engineering, or equivalent, with several years of relevant work experience.
The Following Would Also Be Great Merits:
• Software design and architecture experience
• Experience with computer vision & deep learning algorithms development and optimization
• Experience in C/Python and an interest in going from algorithms to product-ready implementation
• Test automation and build systems
