About the position
As a Setter and Technician at Emballator Lagan AB in Ljungby, you will have a central role in production where you are responsible for preparing and executing tool changes, as well as setting up the production equipment used in our manufacturing. You ensure that quality controls are performed before production transitions to continuous operation. In the event of machine stoppage, you troubleshoot and resolve the issue or escalate to Production Support if larger interventions are necessary. You also provide support to our machine operators in their daily work and contribute to their development and learning. If necessary, you will step in as an operator yourself. You will be part of our production team and report to our production leaders. Working hours are scheduled for two shifts or night shifts, with the possibility of work on weekends according to a rotating schedule. We are looking for someone who is primarily available for work on two shifts or nights.
About you
We are looking for someone with previous experience as a setter or technician, preferably within the injection molding industry, though this is not a requirement. You have a technical interest and good problem-solving skills, and you enjoy working in a team where you actively contribute to collaboration. You are flexible and adapt easily to changes in production. As a person, you are responsible, curious, and contribute to a positive and developmental work environment where we share knowledge and help each other move forward.
