At Alleima and Division Tube, the Nuclear Production Unit develops and manufactures seamless pipes made from advanced stainless steel and specialty alloys, primarily steam generator pipes and containment pipes used in energy supply worldwide. We are also at the forefront of future solutions for energy production. In the Maintenance Department within PU Nuclear in Sandviken, 27 people are working across two divisions with preventive and corrective maintenance to enhance the availability, lifespan, and performance of our machines. We are now seeking an Electrical Technician who wants to contribute to the future of energy supply. Your Role As an Electrical Technician, you will perform tasks related to electrical systems and automation. You will engage in both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as improvement and technical development in your area of expertise. Common tasks include: • Maintaining, optimizing, and improving production equipment to increase availability, lifespan, and performance of the machines. • Actively working on preventive maintenance by creating, executing, and adapting maintenance plans. • Participating in maintenance and investment projects as a technical expert and ensuring that the design of the technical solution meets maintenance requirements and complies with standards. • Analyzing, identifying, and implementing improvements and changes in electrical installations, drive systems, and control systems as well as the safety of electrical equipment. The position is located in Sandviken, and you will report to the Maintenance Manager for PU Nuclear. Your Profile We are looking for someone with at least a secondary education focusing on electrical engineering and/or automation, or equivalent experience deemed suitable. To be successful in this role, you need a broad technical knowledge of industrial facilities and the ability to engage in systematic improvement work aimed at enhancing facility efficiency. Familiarity with the manufacturing process and its specific machinery will be considered an advantage. We place great importance on your personal attributes, characterized by good collaboration skills and accuracy. You have a systematic approach to work and are motivated by problem-solving while understanding the importance of documentation. Furthermore, you contribute improvements, take initiative, and share knowledge with others in the organization.
