Swedish Electrical Safety Authority (Elsäkerhetsverket) aims to make electricity safe and disturbance-free. We work to ensure electrical installations and electrical products are safe, that the industry and electrical professionals have the right competence, and to raise public awareness about electrical hazards. Job Description The Swedish Electrical Safety Authority is seeking an investigator with legal expertise and project management experience. In a changing environment, we continuously review and develop our regulations, work methods, and decision-making and collaboration processes. As an investigator, you will work with your colleagues to analyze and develop the authority's regulations and improve our operational processes and working methods. You will collaborate with lawyers, technical experts, inspectors, and case officers. The role involves both strategic and operational work, including project management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Example Responsibilities - Analyze the effects of new legislation and regulatory change needs - Conduct legal and socio-economic analyses of regulations - Develop new or revised regulations and guidelines - Develop various operational processes and working methods within the authority - Participate in and lead different types of projects and initiatives - Participate in and/or lead work on government assignments, consultations, and reports - Collaborate with other authorities, industry actors, and internal functions - Conduct internal and external training efforts - Contribute to digitalization and efficiency of the authority's working methods and regulatory framework Qualifications To succeed in the role, you must have: - Academic degree in law, political science, social science, economics, or equivalent - Experience with investigative work in the public sector - Project management or development work experience - Experience with regulatory development - Good knowledge of administrative law and the legislative process - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish Additional Merits: - Experience with impact assessments and regulatory effect analyses - Experience with statistical processing and/or statistical analysis - Experience with organizational development and change management - Experience with process mapping and modeling Personal Characteristics We place great importance on personal qualities, and to succeed in the role, you should be: - Self-motivated, initiative-taking, and curious - Communicative and pedagogical with good collaboration skills - Solution-oriented and development-focused - Analytical and structured [Full company description and application instructions follow in the original text]
