This position is a direct recruitment, meaning the recruitment process is conducted through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client.
About the position
As a designer in electrical power, you will be responsible for the electromechanical design of substation facilities within the voltage range of 40–400 kV. You will ensure that all technical solutions comply with applicable standards, contracts, and legal requirements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and other specialists to find efficient, sustainable, and high-quality solutions.
The work also includes self-checking, reviewing colleagues' designs, as well as participating in tender work and planning project timelines.
Examples of tasks:
• Development of layouts for substations and buildings
• Design of portals, frames, and other components
• Sizing and laying of cables
• Designing grounding solutions
• Providing documentation for earthworks, assembly, and construction work
• Reviewing technical documents from suppliers and partners
You will also contribute to the further development of the company's working methods, design processes, and tools for 3D and BIM.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has 2-3 years of experience in primary design for transformer/reception stations (40–400 kV)
• Is experienced in AutoCAD, Primtech, and/or MicroStation
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently and is proficient in English
