We at A-hub are now seeking an experienced electrical design engineer for one of our customers in Västerås – a well-established tech company that combines modern automation with extensive experience in Swedish industry.
About the Role
As an electrical design engineer, you'll become a key person in projects involving both new design and improvement of existing systems. You'll work closely with automation and mechanical engineers and be responsible for ensuring high technical standards in electrical design throughout the entire chain – from initial concept to finished facility.
Here you'll have the opportunity to work on both internal projects and customer assignments. The role suits someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys attention to detail, and likes working practically close to technology.
Main Responsibilities
• Design and construction of electrical and control systems
• Dimensioning of components, cabling, and electrical cabinets
• Development of electrical drawings and documentation
• Adaptation, troubleshooting, and improvement of existing systems
• Technical support to project management and automation team
• Ensuring solutions meet standards and customer specifications
You have worked with:
• EPLAN
• Engineering Base
• ElproCAD Additionally, you use Office 365 and modern documentation systems. Experience with industrial facilities and automation is meritorious.
Who Are You?
You have several years of experience in electrical design within industry, machinery, or automation – and enjoy responsibility, structure, and technical challenges. You live in Sweden, speak Swedish fluently, and are accustomed to working in environments where quality and safety go hand in hand.
Role Requirements:
• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent
• Experience with electrical design in EPLAN, Engineering Base, or ElproCAD
• Understanding of electrical dimensioning and electrical safety standards
• Good collaboration skills and willingness to contribute to improvements
• Driving license (B-class)
