We look forward to your application! AirSon Engineering is launching a new discipline within the company, electrical design with a focus on power. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer who can project manage and design power distribution facilities for properties and who wants to help start, drive, and develop our electrical design work as a discipline lead. About the Company AirSon is part of the energy group E.ON and works with advanced and niche design of process-near technical installations and energy consulting for primarily industrial and energy-intensive customers. Our projects are mainly in pharmaceuticals, food, high-tech (e.g., battery factories, EV, semiconductor technology, microelectronics, optics, etc.), and advanced research facilities. Customers are often multinational companies, and assignments are carried out both nationally and internationally. The company has been a nursery for several commercially successful research projects. With more than 40 years of experience in aerodynamics, HVAC, and energy technology, we offer Swedish industry future solutions in controlled production environments, advanced cleanroom technology, integrated HVAC technical design, and implementation of large high-profile energy-saving projects. The company currently consists of 46 driven and skilled engineers and project managers, three economists, and two sales representatives. Additionally, complemented by a large network of side consultants and subcontractors. The common denominator for all is advanced installation technology. About the Electrical Power Discipline at AirSon In our projects, electrical power is a major discipline, and we are already a large purchaser of this competence from our partners and side consultants. We will continue to buy in a large part but are now complementing it with in-house expertise. We are therefore seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer who can project manage and design our facilities. You will have the opportunity to lead AirSon's engineers and external side consultants to carry out our assignments. You will also become our "discipline lead" within electrical power and have the chance to start, drive, and develop our work in electrical power, as it will be a completely new domain in the company. Role Summary As an electrical engineer at AirSon Engineering, you will play a key role in design, calculation, and installation of primarily power systems within properties. This includes work with high and low-voltage systems and ensuring that all projects meet applicable laws and standards. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that electrical systems are efficient, safe, and sustainable. Responsibilities: • Design of power systems, primarily for industrial applications • Development of technical specifications and documentation • Perform load calculations and dimensioning of components • Implementation of electrical design including cable routing, switchgear installation, and transformers • Ensure all projects comply with safety standards and legal requirements • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of electrical systems • Collaboration with other engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget • Calculation work for own contracts • Stay updated with new technologies and methods in the field Qualifications and Experience: • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrotechnology • At least 6-7 years of experience in electrical design, with documented experience in power distribution design for properties • Certifications such as SEK (Swedish Electrical Commission), ESA (Swedish Electrical Safety Authority), or equivalent • Experience with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, REVIT) • Good knowledge of current standards and legal requirements in electrical power (e.g., IEC, SS-EN) • Experience working with both high and low-voltage systems
