About this role

Ref: 20252635 Universitetsholmen High School is seeking two student coordinators for active and preventive work with attitudes, core values, and safety in shared school spaces. These are fixed-term positions for the academic year 25/26, with immediate start. Job Responsibilities As a student coordinator, you will work with mentorship at both individual and group levels, serving as a secure and present resource for students. You will be available to support and motivate them both in school and in their study situation. Through conversations and projects, you will inspire students, strengthen their sense of responsibility and engagement, and increase their awareness of their own development. In this role, you have a central task of creating a positive and inclusive school environment. You will lead mentor time with classes, serve as a contact person for guardians, and collaborate with key external contacts such as housing, social services, and other authorities. Your work also involves close cooperation with school staff, especially teachers and student health services, to collectively support student development. You will work with the curriculum's values-based mission and create a learning environment where all students feel seen and secure. When needed, you will participate in developing and following up individual development plans, provide support to create structure in students' daily lives, and ensure that the school's absence management is effectively followed up. We are seeking someone who wants to work closely with young people and support their development. You should easily create and maintain relationships and enjoy collaborating with others. Here, you will become part of a team focused on providing each student with a secure and supportive school environment where they can grow and develop. Qualifications Requirements: • Relevant post-secondary education in areas such as pedagogy, social work, or behavioral science (minimum 120 credits or 2-year professional training) • Good documentation skills • Digital competence involving natural use of digital tools as work instruments and aids • Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Meriting: • Experience working with high school-aged youth We seek someone with excellent collaboration skills who enjoys working in teams with different professional groups. You are flexible, attentive, and have a good approach that helps you build trust and create strong relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and external partners. You are also skilled at planning and prioritizing your work to effectively manage the various tasks involved in the student coordinator role. You understand how background, culture, and group affiliation can impact students' daily lives and learning, and you contribute to an inclusive and respectful school environment.
